"Bob Mackie Wearable Art" is the line of clothing that he designs for QVC.....not sure of Artwear Line.

Though most of the pieces I've seen were made in China, I have found "Bob Mackie Wearable Art pieces made in Hong Kong (possibly 1980s). Sorry I can't help with label changes though.

I looked it up a good while ago, and came to the conclusion that the very 80's looking garment I was looking at was probably an earlyish line done for QVC. The problem is the brand has been designing pieces for QVC for some 20 years already. (I believe it was the anniversary a year or two ago)

Sandy, I have a blouse that I purchased in the 1990's from the QVC outlet store that used to be in Norfolk, Virginia and it looks very similar and the tag is the same. Mine had shoulder pads that were not huge, but I took them out because I thought it looked better without them. I still have the blouse and always get many compliments on it when I wear it.....it's nice silk and the print is lovely!
