Cartier or Not? Help Appreciated

Hi everyone,

Could someone please help me identify whether this is a genuine Cartier brooch or not?
I was told it is authentic but I am not sure of the maker's mark on the reverse.

It is very difficult to see the mark, however, that draped leopard/cheetah/panther design has been copied by many costume jewelry companies over the years, and it appears to be a cast costume piece, from what I could tell from here.

I had the same reaction as Laura - it appears to be a cast costume piece.
