Grandmother'sBlack Sheer Capelet

I recently inherited a ton of vintage clothing that belonged to my Great grandmother. I've had a heck of a time find info on them. She kept everything, And I mean everything! I ran across this amazing beautiful capelet with a choker style collar. There are not any tags. I was hoping to learn more about it. What era was this item in style and could this piece be one or is it current? Any info or thoughts on this piece is appreciated.

How fortunate to have your grandmother's garments. This looks contemporary, and not antique or very vintage. Are the beads glass? It is very lovely, even for a newer piece.

Thank you for your response! I am very much a novice and still learning a great deal. I didn't even check the beads to be honest. I guess a little more research on my part would have helped. I did question the condition of it, but she always kept her clothing in pristine condition and made quite a few. Even though this one is not vintage, I too still love the style and feel. thanks very much appreciated.
