Interesting Alfred Shaheen label

Hi Everyone!

I have recently purched an Alfred Shaheen dress with adorable kokashi doll prints, which has been a long-time dream of mine. As I examined the dress and the label closely, I noticed that its a kind of label Ive never seen before. It is the end of the first "S" letter which is different. Has any of you encountered this label before? Is there anything to know about it? Do you know when exactly it was used?

I havent seen that label.....I have a late 50s Shaheen with similar print but different label...yours looks earlier than mine.

Awww, that red shirt is lovely!!! Yes, my label (and dress too) definitely feels and looks quite old.
I will send photos of the dress soon, but Im kind of commuting all the time, and its not with me at this moment. Thanks again!

Hi Ladies! I finally got to the place where I keep my vintage treasures, and took a photo of the dress. I checked and there is a fabric label which says it is silk.
