Now is your chance to offload a bustle skirt you can't use.... I have a dolman mantle and two skirt panels c. 1885. I want to construct a traveling outfit using an original skirt. Should be a skirt appropriate for a traveling outfit -- wool, maybe heavy faille, even velvet (sleeves of the mantle are velvet) and fairly simple -- for example plain front and lots of vertical pleats falling from waist to the ground in back. Black or brown is best, burgundy would work. Since I've got two skirt panels I can creatively hide damage in the front of the skirt -- I can use one or both for draping in the front. Anyone have a spare bustle skirt?
