Hello. I purchased this uniform in a Goodwill in Boston and the only thing that I can find on the manufacturer is newspaper ads from 1903-1905. I can't find anything else and its really aggravating to say the least! It looks like a military uniform, though through all the research I've been able to do can only come to the conclusion its pre-WWI. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The lining isn't right for a jacket, civilian or military, from that early. The partial lining looks like rayon in the pics, which would place it no earlier than the 1930s. All the military uniforms I have handled use either a black cotton sateen, or a tan cotton lining. Civilian jackets often use a striped cotton lining.
