Schiaparelli Buttons

Matthew shared with me these two images of Schiaparelli outfits with her extraordinary buttons. These were from a show in Paris.

Then I found the buttons below on the excellent site of the MET'S Schiaparelli Collection. (The ONLY thing that really creeps me out is a cricket - snakes and spiders are fine - so I can't even look at these buttons!)

I would love to be able to go back in time to her atelier & be a fly (or a cricket) on the wall so I could watch her work.
