The world-class tennis matches at this summer's Olympics, Wimbledon and Roland Garros got me thinking about ... tennis bracelets! The three bracelets shown on a tennis ball are fantastic examples made in the 1920s and 30s, when new fashions made this style all the rage. These bracelets were known then as "flexible" or line bracelets. It wasn't until the late '70s when they became known as tennis bracelets, when Chris Evert was playing in the U.S. Open.
But there is more to know about how these bracelets became and remain so popular. Read my new blog here: https://bit.ly/line-bracelet-history.
